Kadrotools

Software changed.
So should the tools.

Kadrotools builds desktop apps for AI-native development — one account, one core, a growing suite. It starts with Kadro ADE, the workspace for running coding agents. Independent, and built in the open.

Why we exist.

AI changed how software gets built. Agents write, refactor, and review code now — but the tools around them are still terminal tabs and chat boxes bolted onto workflows from before any of this existed.

Kadrotools builds the missing layer: native desktop apps that treat agentic work as the default, not an add-on. One account and one shared core, so the apps work together instead of fragmenting into yet another pile of tools.

Built in the open.

Kadrotools is an independent project, built in public. It exists because coding agents got good fast and the tooling around them never caught up — so we’re building what we wished existed.

That means shipping often and deciding the roadmap with the people actually using it. Bug reports land in the next release. Feature debates happen in the Discord. No growth team, no hype cycle — just the work, in public.

What we hold to.

Desktop-first

Real work happens on a real machine. Kadrotools apps run natively, keep your files on your disk, and stay useful when the network doesn't.

Private by default

No selling data, no training on your code. The sub-processor list stays short and visible in the privacy policy.

Nothing hidden

Agents run in real terminals you can read, making real changes you can review — not a black box. You decide what ships.

Put your agents to work.
All of them, at once.
