Connect RevenueCat

Connect RevenueCat with a V2 secret key scoped to read access — Kadro Revenue shows aggregate metrics only, it can never change anything in your project.

Updated 2026-07-04

Connecting RevenueCat lets Kadro Revenue show your app’s revenue metrics in the menu bar. It uses a REST API v2 secret key (sk_…) that you scope to read access yourself.

Create a read-only key

  1. Open your Project → Project Settings → API Keys.
  2. Click + New.
  3. Name it and set Version = V2.
  4. Grant Readfor Charts & Metrics (overview) and Projects, and leave everything else None.
  5. Click Generate and copy the sk_… key.

It must be a V2 secret key — not a public SDK key or a v1 key. Kadro Revenue reads your first project and shows aggregate numbers only — there are no per-sale notifications, and the figure is a 28-day window rather than 30.

Add it to Kadro Revenue

Open Settings → Provider and choose RevenueCat. Paste the sk_… key and click Connect.

What Kadro Revenue can see

The key itself is restricted to read access, and Kadro Revenue only ever makes read calls with it — it can’t change anything in your RevenueCat project. Once it’s validated, the key is stored in your macOS Keychain and never leaves your Mac.

You can revoke it anytime from Project Settings → API Keys in RevenueCat.

  • Stripe — create a restricted, read-only key and connect it.
  • Polar — connect an organization access token with read scopes.
  • Lemon Squeezy — generate an API key and connect your store.
  • Paddle — create a Billing API key with read permissions.
  • Dodo Payments — connect a live-mode API key.
