Manage your channels
Channels is where every account you've connected lives — its status, a manual refresh, and the option to disconnect it.
Updated 2026-07-04
Connection status
Each connected account shows a status badge: live means it’s healthy and ready to post; needs reconnectmeans its access token has expired or was revoked on the platform’s side; disconnected means it’s no longer linked at all. When an account needs reconnecting, connect it again the same way you did the first time.
Refresh & disconnect
Each connected account has two controls. The refresh button (↻) pulls the latest name and avatar from the platform, so Kadro Social reflects a display-name or profile-picture change without you having to reconnect. Disconnect removes the account entirely — it stops appearing as a target in Compose until you connect it again.
Kadro Social keeps one account per platform. Connecting a new account on a platform you’ve already connected replaces the existing one.
Coming soon
TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Threadsare built and rolling out as each platform’s API review completes. Until a platform goes live for your account, its tile on Channels shows a “Soon” tag instead of a Connect button.
What to have ready once each one opens up:
- TikTok — a creator account; posting is video-only.
- YouTube — a channel; posts are vertical or square Shorts under three minutes.
- Instagram — a professional account, either Business or Creator.
- Facebook — a published Page you manage; no video.
- Threads — text and images, up to 500 characters.
